Last week I gave a talk at the forum in Norwich on the History (and Future) of Recorded Music. I covered tape/vinyl/CD/download up to the whole spectrum of streaming services on offer today.
From that base I went on to discuss how the largest streaming service online (Youtube) has come to effect the Billboard top 100. Along with discussing interesting ways artists are making money from live shows, to premium products (including vinyl) and crowd funding like Kickstarter and IndieGoGo.
