Where are the best places to live and work around the world? – 25 Years. 25 Cities.

Travel is the only expense that makes you richer. – Anonymous

Travel is so often that wish. The delayed gratification. Something to wait for next year. Next summer.

Over the last year I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some great cities building my company Chew. Because of the nature of my trips I’ve been luck enough to “live” not to just “travel” through a lot of these places.

Staying with friends. New and old.

My Chewhiker trip in March is a great example.

Living not Traveling

The attitude of travel is one of waiting to return home. Why bother creating relationships. Open your eyes and your hearts and live.

25 Years. 25 Cities.

Today I’m 25th. And each step in my left has been preceded by a setting a grand goal…moving to London on a whim…starting a company… So I’m setting a new personal goal. To live and work in 25 new cities around the world.

Rules

– In each town I must be working as well as just visiting.
– I  will stay for at least 7 days in each city.
– I will always take offers to stay over any other accommodation.
– Over the journey I must visit every continent at least once.
I’m not leaving in one big voyage. I have too many commitments in London. But I’ve already taken the first step. I’ll be traveling to Tokyo for Tokyo Dance Music Event in December.

Co-working. Co-living.

The aim. To explore new ways to live and new ways to work. From the Wind Factory in Liverpool to Auraville in India. To meet new people. To learn.

You Can Help!

Here’s my spreadsheet. Any suggestions and recommendations for interesting spaces to work and stay are welcomed in the sheet or to my email ben@benbowler.com.

Looking forward to seeing you on my travels.

Ben xx
