One thing that you learn by cycling around the world is how many hours there are in a day. As I was sit in the saddle for 8, 10, 12 hours, the world passing by pedal turn by pedal turn, I came to the realisation: I can really do anything. Anything, given the time.
I’ve always been enamoured with the entrepreneurial life since my tweet to Freshbooks CEO, Mike McDerment, led to a copy of Entrepreneur magazine with a handwritten note landing on the doorstep of my family home. These characters were creating new ways to live, work and share. I had to be a part of it.
Ten years later I’ve launched several personal ventures and one full-blown #startup. Now I’m thinking about what’s next.
As I cycle around the world indefinitely, stopping to enjoy the digital nomad life, I have plenty of time to meditate on where I can really make a difference.
That’s why I’m launching 7 new startups on 7 continents around the world.
I’m already 2/7. Keep an eye on this my 7 startups page, and sign up for my emails, daily diaries and YouTube videos for more on the startups and all that I’ve learned and I’ve struggled to push myself to travel further and create more.
